The 2025 Christmas Market in the town of Plaisir (78): crafts, Santa Claus, and an educational farm

As the holiday season approaches, the traditional Christmas markets are back in Paris with their dose of magic and excitement. Not far away, in the Yvelines (78), the Parc du Château de Plaisir is also joining in the festivities by hosting the city's highly anticipated Christmas Market from Saturday, December 6 to Sunday, December 7, 2025. Once again this year, this iconic event dedicated to good food and conviviality promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family. 

For one weekend, the Parc du Château de Plaisir is transformed into a veritable Christmas Village, with over 60 chalets unveiling their treasures. From culinary delights to handcrafted creations, there's something for everyone! And don't forget the little counter-restaurants where you can treat yourself as you stroll through the magical village.

Beyond gift ideas, the Plaisir Christmas Market also offersfree entertainment that will delight visitors of all ages. The program includes a Christmas choir, a light parade, creative workshops, and even an educational farm!  

But that's not all! The magic is turned up a notch with the arrival of Santa Claus himself, ready to welcome the wishes of the little ones and fill the older ones with wonder.

Saturday, December 6

• Light parade - at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
• Christmas carousel and flying chairs - 10 a.m.
• Christmas educational farm - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Santa's House - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Creative workshops for ages 4-7
  Lucky charms, Christmas candles, matryoshka door puppets, and dream catchers Santa Claus - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• "Plant creations" workshop - from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Ages 7 and up
• Conservatory student choir - from 2:30 p.m.
• Free mulled wine and hot chocolate - 6pm to 7pm
