The 2024 Christmas Market in Plaisir (78): crafts, Santa Claus, horse-drawn carriage rides...

In the run-up to the festive season, the traditional Christmas Markets return to Paris with their share of magic and excitement. Not far away, in the Yvelines region (78), the Parc du Château de Plaisir also joins the festivities, hosting the town's eagerly awaited Christmas Market from Saturday December 7 to Sunday December 8, 2024. Once again this year, this emblematic event, dedicated to gourmet delights and conviviality, has something unforgettable in store for the whole family.

For one weekend, the Parc du Château de Plaisir is transformed into a veritable Christmas Village, with over 60 chalets unveiling their treasures. From culinary delights to handcrafted creations, there's something for everyone! And don't forget the little counter-restaurants where you can treat yourself as you stroll through the magical village.

In addition to gift ideas, the Marché de Noël de la Ville de Plaisir also featuresfree entertainment to delight visitors of all ages. The program includes a Christmas choir, decoration-making workshops, horse-drawn carriage rides and even an educational farm!

But that's not all! The magic is turned up a notch with the arrival of Santa Claus himself, ready to welcome the wishes of the little ones and fill the older ones with wonder.

Saturday, December 7th

• Children's carousel - 10am to 7pm
• Christmas Farm - 10am to 12pm then 2pm to 7pm
• Santa's House, for a photoshoot with the most famous man with a white beard - 10am to 12pm then 2pm to 6pm (Salle de l'ancien restaurant)
• Workshop to create wooden Christmas figures and funny elves in wool and felt(From age 4) - 10am to 12pm then 2pm to 6pm(Salle de l'ancien restaurant)
• Plant creation workshop(ages 7 and up) - 10am to 12pm then 2pm to 6pm(under tent)
• Horse-drawn carriage rides - 2 pm to 6 pm
• Conservatory choir - from 2.30pm
• Stilt-walking elves light parade - from 4.30pm
• Mulled wine and chocolate offered by elected representatives - 18h to 19h(On the elected representatives' stand)

Sunday, December 8

• Children's carousel - 10am to 6pm
• Christmas Farm - 10am to 12pm then 2pm to 6pm

• Mini crystal ball and recycled photo frame workshop (From age 4) - 10am to 12pm then 2pm to 6pm (Salle de l'ancien restaurant)
• Plant creation workshop (ages 7 and up) - 10am to 12pm then 2pm to 6pm(under tent)
• Horse-drawn carriage rides - 2 pm to 6 pm
• Ambulatory orchestra - 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
• A quartet of jazz and variety musicians will perform Christmas-themed tunes.
• Merry-go-rounds, petting zoo and Santa Claus - 10am to 12pm then 2pm to 6pm
• Horse-drawn carriage rides - 2pm to 6pm
• Creative Christmas decorations workshop - 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm
