The world moves on to another step in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic: vaccine. After a harsh race to vaccine, several solutions made the news. In turns, laboratories claimed the effectiveness level of their vaccines. Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is said to be 95% effected, as Moderna vaccine is 94.1% effective. As for AstraZeneca, it is said to be 70% effective, and yet can reach 100% effectiveness in two doses.
Since then, vaccine campaigns have started all around the world. But so far, no one knew the effectiveness level of the Chinese Covid-19 vaccines. But this Wednesday December 30, 2020, silence has been broken by Sinopharm laboratory, the first lab in the country to unveil data. Their vaccine is said to be 79% effective. Application for approval has been sought by the laboratory to the Chinese authorities.
