Easter 2020 means Easter eggs 2020. For the Mandarin Oriental, pastry chef Adrien Bozzolo has created a real chocolate sculpture in the shape of a Japanese bonsai .
Given the evolution of the COVID19 epidemic and the extension of containment, no Egg Hunt will take place on the weekend of April 11 to 13, 2020.
Inspired by Miyazaki's films, in which the theme of symbol-laden nature plays a central role, the pastry chef has imagined Chisana Ki, a "little tree" in Japanese that invites you to dream and indulge, to be discovered from April 4 to 13, 2020.
From its giant seed in Grand Cru 70% dark chocolate, filled with flaky praline bonbons , a trunk and branches in blond Dulcey chocolate grow, topped with foliage in flaky praline chocolate... A guaranteed delight!
But Easter also means Easter brunch! To make the most of this family day, head to the Mandarin Oriental for an ultra-refined brunch concocted by celebrated chef Thierry Marx.
Served in the Camélia restaurant, with its natural, plant-based decor, this brunch will feature seasonal products and dishes, such as free-range lamb, stewed peas, spring onion and taggiasche olive jus, or organic soft-boiled egg, Bigorre bacon, watercress cream and Beaufort emulsion.
