ForEpiphany 2019, Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel, the capital's most famous hotel, has rivaled each other in ingenuity to make their galette a unique creation, astonishing in flavor and texture.
For the whole month of January, pastry chef Ludovic Miguel and his assistant Valentin Langlais will be creating a galette des rois to match their imagination!
This original galette is a hybrid between the brioche des rois with candied fruit and the traditional galette frangipane. The elements of the frangipane are present on the top-bottom of the dessert, and inside we find a brioche-style brioche perdue (with sugar-free custard and citron zest, pan-fried like French toast) and on top, the candied citron.
And for added convenience, the galette des rois is available by the slice at Bar L'Atrium, to enjoy the hotel's festive atmosphere, or as a takeaway, to choose your king at home.
