Ever heard ofLa Meringaie? Located in the 17th, 6th and 9th arrondissements of Paris, this boutique invites you to indulge in desserts inspired by Pavlova, the famous Australian pastry: a meringue that's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, fragrant whipped creams and fresh seasonal fruit.
For Epiphany 2021, La Meringaie has created a surprise galette des rois based on meringue, of course! This meringue has swapped traditional puff pastry for a fluffy meringue. At its heart, analmond whipped cream, pears and fresh raspberries.
As you can imagine, this galette des rois is super-light and naturally gluten-free! But that doesn't mean it doesn't have character! In fact, it's named Aliénor after a famous queen with a strong character!
Like classic galettes des rois, the Meringaie galette des rois conceals a bean and also features the famous crown. It can be found in the boutique in a format for 6 to 8 people at a price of 35€!
So, do you fancy a meringue galette?
