Born in the gay clubs of New York in the 1970s, voguing arrived in Paris in 2010. Much more than a dance style, it's a cultural movement in its own right. The highly physical choreography combines iconic and lascivious poses with elastic and gymnastic contortions, accentuated by subtle arm movements. A true performance that blurs the boundaries between genders and sexualities, in a joyful mix of exaggerated clichés of femininity and fashion.
