First of all, what is the metaverse? It's a virtual, immersive world, considered to be the future version of the Internet, where we should eventually be able to evolve with other people, via 3D interaction. With the emergence of this term and all its new possibilities, new professions are beginning to emerge: crypto-currency advisor, NFT salesman, augmented reality designer... all training courses that need to be invented. That's why a school dedicated to the metaverse is being set up in Paris byOctober 2022.
Ridouan Abagri came up with the idea for the"Metaverse College", which is being set up in the Grande Arche district of La Défense this autumn. Numerous companies, such as Carrefour and IBM, are starting to look for specialized metaverse profiles, but are unable to find candidates due to a lack of state-approved training. As yet little exploited, the metaverse is tending to become a veritable parallel world in the future, which should be a nerve center for the business world.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg gave the metaverse major exposure in 2021, when he renamed his group Meta. This virtual reality world attracts the curiosity and interest of fairly young profiles, who can learn at Metaverse College how to code, design in augmented reality, understand the rules of the virtual art market or bitcoin prices... All skills that will soon be in great demand, and accessible to students with a bac +3 or bac +5, for a price of 10,000 euros per year. This will be the very first specialized school in the world, and enrolment is now open for the start of the new academic year!
