Disneyland Paris: the It's a Small World attraction returns with a more inclusive ride

At Disneyland Paris, one of the most cult attractions has made a comeback. For more than 30 years,"It's a small world" aka the world is small, has rocked generations with its iconic ride that takes us around the world while celebrating diversity and hundreds of dolls singing this iconic anthem that has a way of staying in our heads. Freshly restored, this attraction welcomes back visitors on May 5, 2023.

Walt Disney Imagineering Parisworked in collaboration with the central and maintenance workshops of Disneyland Paris to restore"It's a small world". In total, more than 300 Audio-Animatronics dolls representing children from around the world had to be refreshed. All the animal figurines, animated accessories and more than a hundred toys were also restored. The lighting of the attraction was modernized, and the colors of the original façade were revived. As you can see, everything has been done with great care to preserve the magic of the attraction.

The next time you embark on this adventure celebrating diversity, you will also notice another change on the ride. In several scenes of the attraction, there are now dolls in wheelchairs. This initiative is part of Disneyland Paris ' efforts to make it an inclusive and welcoming destination.
