If you're travelling in Seine-Saint-Denis and plan to take the RER E line, you're going to have to be patient. After a morning already marked by disruptions between Paris and Hauts-de-Seine, the RER E is once again paralyzed, this time in Seine-Saint-Denis. According to a press release published by SNCF on the social network X (formerly Twitter), a personal accident has occurred on the outskirts of Bondy station, mobilizing emergency services and the forces of law and order.
Traffic is completely disrupted between Noisy-le-Sec and Le Chesnay Gagny, a situation that is expected to continue until 1:15pm, according to estimates. On the rest of the line, delays and train cancellations are also expected.
The disruption is not confined to line E. Transilien line P, which shares part of its route with RER E, is also affected. Passengers are invited to consult real-time information on dedicated applications or with station agents.
In this context, users are advised to plan alternative routes or postpone their journeys if possible. Local bus routes, although saturated, can provide a temporary solution for reaching stations less affected by the disruption.
The situation is still evolving, and teams on site are working to restore traffic flow as soon as possible. The resumption of normal traffic is expected in the early afternoon, subject to the progress of ongoing operations.
