Transport: disruptions forecast for the metro and RER in February 2025

Partial traffic disruptions on metro lines 2 and 3, total closure on lines 9 and 14, and evening and weekday disruptions on RER B... In February 2025, traffic is disrupted on several metro and RER lines due to modernization work. Find out more about the disruptions announced for the Paris metro and RER.

Unfortunately for users, work is continuing on public transport in Paris and the Ile-de-France region in 2025. This February, 5 metro lines are affected by total or partial traffic disruptions. Announced disruptions on the metro in February 2025

Line 2

Traffic disrupted between Nation and Père-Lachaise stations, all day, from February 26 to March 2, 2025.

Metro line 2: traffic partially interrupted for 5 days

Line 3

Traffic will be interrupted all day between Pont de Levallois - Bécon and Wagram stations, from February 15 to 20, 2025 inclusive.

Metro line 3: traffic partially interrupted for 6 days this winter

Line 6

The entire line is closed until February 12, 2025, every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 10pm.
Partial closure of the line from February 17 to 28, 2025 inclusive, between Charles de Gaulle-Étoile and La Motte Picquet-Grenelle stations.

Line 9

Trains at a standstill on the whole of line 9 on Sunday 2 and Sunday 16 February 2025.

Paris: total closure of metro line 9 this Sunday

Line 14

Line 14 partially closed between Saint-Denis Pleyel and Maison Blanche on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10pm (except on February 4, 17 and 24).
Line 14 completely closed on Wednesday evenings from 10pm.
Complete closure of the line on Sunday, February 9, 2025 (all day).

RER disruptions forecast for February 2025

Numerous traffic disruptions are expected on the various RER lines in February 2025. Find out about some of the announced closures, and find out more about the work on the RATP and SNCF Transilien websites.

RER A

Weekends of February 1 and 2, 2025, from 10:30pm: traffic interrupted between Maisons-Laffitte and Poissy.
From Monday February 17 to Friday February 28, 2025 (except Saturdays and Sundays), from 10pm: traffic interruption between Nanterre-Préfecture and Cergy le Haut / Poissy.

RER B

Throughout February, Monday to Friday from 10:45pm, except on February 14, 17, 21 and 24, 2025: traffic between Paris Gare du Nord and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV/ Mitry-Claye will be interrupted. Please note that replacement buses serving stations between Aulnay-sous-Bois and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 (line B4)/Mitry-Claye (line B3) will depart from Gare du Nord.
Sunday, February 9, 2025, all day: trains stop between Le Bourget and Aulnay-sous-Bois.
From Friday February 14 to Monday February 17, 2025 (inclusive): Interconnection break at Gare du Nord. To continue your journey, you will need to change trains at Gare du Nord between the underground and surface tracks.
From Friday February 21 to Monday February 24, 2025 (inclusive): interconnection suspended at Paris Nord. To continue your journey, you will need to change trains between underground and surface tracks.

RER C

From Monday February 3rd to Friday February 28th (except Saturdays and Sundays), from 11pm until late evening: traffic interrupted between Paris Austerlitz and Pont de Rungis.
From Monday February 3rd to Friday February 28th (except Saturdays and Sundays), from 11.30pm until late evening: traffic interrupted between Javel and St-Quentin en Yvelines.
From Monday February 3rd to Friday February 28th (except Saturdays and Sundays), from 11pm to late evening: traffic disrupted between Avenue Henri Martin and Montigny Beauchamp.
From Monday February 3rd to Friday February 28th (except Saturdays and Sundays), from 11:30pm until late evening: traffic disrupted between Versailles Château Rive Gauche and Javel.

RER D

Weekend of February 1 and 2, all day: traffic interrupted between Combs-la-Ville and Melun, and between Corbeil-Essonnes and Melun.
Weekends of February 15 and 16 and February 22 and 23, 2025: trains from Corbeil-Essonnes and Melun terminate at Paris Gare de Lyon souterraine, Paris Gare de Lyon Surface or Châtelet-les-Halles. To the north of the line, trains to and from Orry-la-Ville and Goussainville terminate at or depart from Paris Gare du Nord. Stade de France station is not served.
Weekends of February 8 and 9, February 15 and 16 and February 22 and 23, 2025: adapted service between Goussainville and Melun. Also, on the weekend of February 8 and 9, the Maisons-Alfort, Verts de Maisons, Créteil Pompadour and Villeneuve Triage stops are not served from Paris Gare de Lyon to Corbeil/Melun. On the weekends of February 15 and 16 and February 22 and 23, the Verts de Maisons, Créteil Pompadour and Villeneuve Triage stops will not be served in either direction. Maisons-Alfort station is not only served in the direction of Corbeil-Essonnes and Melun.

RER E

Wednesday February 12 and Thursday February 13, from 10:30pm: the Rosa Parks station is not served by trains to Villiers-sur-Marne and Tournan. However, the station is served by trains to Chelles Gournay and the T3Bis tramway.

RER B and D: major disruptions forecast for February 2025
