La Nuit des Musées is a not-to-be-missed event for cultural enthusiasts. How does it work? Once a year, this not-to-be-missed event opens the doors of museums, castles, monuments and other cultural institutions to us, offering night-time events and a rich program of visits (often free), activities, workshops, concerts and other surprises. An opportunity for enthusiasts and the curious to discover our heritage in a whole new way!
Of course, Paris and the whole of the Île-de-France region take part in this very special night. Why not take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the lives of artists who have left their mark on their time and their art? The Paris region has played host to many personalities, and is today home to numerous artists' homes that have since been transformed into studio-museums. These usually enable us to penetrate the secrets of the creative process of these emblematic figures, while immersing us in their daily lives, sometimes in a moving way.
