On June 21, get out your instruments and take to the streets for the return of the famous and unmissable Fête de la Musique!
But what exactly is the Fête de la Musique? A free, popular music event, the Fête de la Musique was created in 1982 on the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture. That year, the Ministry of Culture's studies and research department conducted a major survey of French cultural practices. It revealed that five million people, including one young person in two, play a musical instrument. So Jack Lang, architect and scenographer Christian Dupavillon, a member of his Cabinet, and Maurice Fleuret came up with the idea of a major popular event to enable all musicians to express themselves and make themselves known. The very first Fête de la Musique was launched on June 21, 1982, the symbolic day of the summer solstice.
For over 40 years now, the French have gathered on June 21 to celebrate this event, in which many different venues take part.
Once again this year, Le Hasard Ludique will be taking part in the Fête de la Musique on Friday June 21, 2024. The cultural venue in the capital's 18th arrondissement is offering a very festive, free outdoor open air event to mark the occasion. Yes, this year, Le Hasard Ludique will be turning up the heat on the rails of the Petite Ceinture, with dj sets by the Kluster collective , not to be missed from 6 p.m. to midnight! Note that the second part of the evening, offered in club format and accessible from midnight to 6am in the Hasard Ludique station, is on the other hand subject to a fee and must be booked here.
Join us on June 21 from 6pm on the Petite Ceinture for dj sets by the Kluster collective. Free outdoor open air from 6pm to midnight.
The evening continues indoors from midnight to 6am with a clubbing format(fee payable).
