A quick reminder: the Fête de la Musique was born in 1982. Under the impetus of Jack Lang, then Minister of Culture, Maurice Fleuret and Christian Dupavillon, architect-scenographer and member of the Cabinet, the very first Fête de la Musique was launched in France on June 21, 1982. Since then, the event has gone from strength to strength, and has even been exported abroad.

So, what program awaits you in Paris this year? If you're in the Ménilmontant or Belleville area, head to 88 Ménilmontant. As it has every summer since 2017, this 900m² plot is being taken over by the Bellevilloise teams to host artistic performances, shows, concerts and workshops until the end of September.

88 Ménilmontant is once again taking part in the Fête de la musique. On Friday June 21, 2024, the summer spot is organizing an open air event in partnership with DOM, featuring sunny, free concerts and DJ sets!

Delilah's Dance offers a skilful blend of seventies sounds, disco funk, jazz and rock rhythms.
Ten Fingerz produces tracks bursting with dancefloor energy, influenced by acid house, the French touch and Afro house.
Pajarito Mundo combines electronic and world music.
Loukoumotiv: it's time to relax, thanks to professional osteopaths who will be offering a massage for the occasion.

Note that the fête de la musique will be extended in all-night long mode at La Bellevilloise from 11pm (fee payable, reservation here).
