Attention music fans! The Fête de la Musique returns all over France on Saturday, June 21, 2025 , for another festive and convivial event!
But what exactly is the Fête de la Musique? Once a year, on June 21 (the day of the summer solstice), this free, popular musical event invites all musicians, amateurs of all levels and professionals alike, to celebrate living music and showcase the breadth and diversity of musical practices and genres (rock, hip-hop, rap, electro, classical, jazz, blues, reggae...).
Created by the French Ministry of Culture in 1982, the Fête de la Musique has since been exported abroad, to the point of becoming a national event in several countries, including Luxembourg, Italy, Greece, Peru and Colombia. Over the years, the Fête de la Musique has invented and reinvented itself, becoming an emblematic event that we love to come back to every June 21.
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, there's sure to be plenty of good music in Paris and elsewhere in the Île-de-France region, including Saint-Prix. This town in the Val-d'Oise region of Ile-de-France is once again taking part in the Fête de la Musique, hosting a series of free concerts in the heart of the Parc de l'Hôtel de Ville, starting at 6.30pm! On the menu? Young artist Jana Lunot (winner of Plaine Vallée Agglo's Tremplin jeunes talents), as well as Valsco & Loony Bee.
