While the capital's streets are packed with musical highlights, there are also plenty of other concerts lined up elsewhere in the Paris region. And if you live in the Yvelines region, there's a packed program of events not to be missed, including one in Triel-sur-Seine.
Located 35 kilometers west of Paris, Triel-sur-Seine stretches along both banks of the river. Most of it, however, lies on the slopes of the Hautil, which rise to a height of 175 meters. Considered one of the highest peaks in the Paris region, it is also home to the Parc aux Étoiles, an astronomy park with a star observatory.
So this year, the commune of Triel-sur-Seine is taking part in the Fête de la musique on Friday June 21, 2024, with a varied program announced from 6pm onwards on Place Philippe Prévost. On the program? A concert by the music school, followed by concerts by Rose Thorn and Helenhide, not forgetting a tribute to Pink Floyd to close the evening. Of course, the event is free and open to all. Catering is also available on site.
