Nuit Blanche 2024: a free jazz evening at the Hôtel de la Marine

It's the craziest night of the year, the evening that transforms Paris into an open-air museum: it's the Nuit Blanche that 's back this Saturday, June 1, 2024! This 23rd edition of the event is as crazy and unusual as ever, even after all these years. Are you ready for it?

La Nuit Blanche is a Parisian cultural event organized every year since 2002. Over the course of an evening, from 6 p.m. until the early hours of the morning, exhibitions, concerts, shows, happenings, installations and zany events unfold throughout the capital and surrounding towns. Nuit Blanche showcases French and internationalcontemporary art, often free of charge, in museums, monuments, parks and squares around the city.

Born in Nagoya in 1975, Atsushi Sakaï is an award-winning cellist who has been invited to numerous festivals in France and abroad. Atsushi is very active in the jazz world as an improviser. Under the diamond glass roof of the Hôtel de la Marine, enjoy an evening of jazz on ancient instruments, specially conceived by cellist Atsushi Sakaï, accompanied by seven musicians for an acoustic experience in an eclectic register between John Dowland, Björk and traditional music.
