On the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq, in the heart of the 19th arrondissement, you've probably already caught sight of Jardin 21, the 19th arrondissement's cultural wasteland where people come to party, have a drink with friends, dance the night away and enjoy the festive atmosphere with friends and family. On Saturday July 8 and Sunday July 9, board a flight from Jardin 21 to Bogota, for an immersion in Colombia without even leaving Paris during the Las Onces festival, which showcases the culture, gastronomy and music of this country on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
On the program? The Los Andes brand of Colombian coffee, behind the event, offers a host of free activities: from daily reggaeton classes toceramic painting and children's workshops, the day gets off to a great start! And don't forget the designer market, tastings and Colombian food stands, where you can sample the country's culinary specialities.
Then, in the early evening, get ready for stand-up comedy, followed by live music and DJ sets featuring champeta, reggaeton, salsa and cumbia on Saturday night until 3am! On Sunday, after the stand-up comedy, a live music performance with South American sounds is also on the program.
So, make a date for Saturday, July 8, from 11.30 a.m. to 3 a.m., and Sunday, July 9, between 11.30 a.m. and 9 p.m., for a weekend of frenzied rhythms, vida loca and Colombian festivities!
