Musical events

The Festival of American Art Schools

Since 1921, the American Art Schools (EAAF) have been held at the Château de Fontainebleau during the summer, and have grouped together a French foundation that welcomes young musicians and composers who have graduated from leading American universities.
The Château de Fontainebleau and the American Schools of Art, under the artistic direction of cellist Diana Ligeti, have turned this summer academy into a veritable festival dedicated to excellence, working towards creation and the encounter of all audiences.

An elegant range of classical concerts, lectures... with a wide variety of instruments to be listened to without moderation.

Sam Sam Festival

Les Amis de l'Orgue de Fontainebleau (Friends of the Fontainebleau Organ) is an association whose mission is to promote the sometimes forgotten instruments that are organs, to contribute to their restoration and to organize organ concerts. See you on August 25.

La Grande Semaine de Dressage

Amateur or experienced, alone or with the family, during the Grande Semaine you can admire the most beautiful young dressage horses and ponies, from August 8 to 11.

Sologn'Pony

The Association Nationale du Poney Français de Selle, in partnership with the Société Hippique Française, has decided to bring the Sologn'Pony back to the legendary Grand Parquet de Fontainebleau for 2024, from August 14 to 17.

Amateur show jumping Haras du Cottard

On the program: amateur events ranging from amateur 2 to amateur elite, as well as pro events with a superb GP Pro 1m40 and, above all, a TDA to replace the BIP.

All this with top-quality catering and a warm, friendly atmosphere, from August 1 to 4.
