Mother! new film from Darren Aronofsky starring Jennifer Lawrence

Darren Aronofsky, the man behind the chilling Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream, has not finished making us tremble at the movies, as his new baby looks particularly tortured (and understandably so, as the action takes place within a couple!).

Mother! brings together a staggering cast of stars: Jennifer Lawrence (Oscar for Best Actress), Javier Bardem (Oscar for Best Actor), Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer- in other words, four bombshells of contemporary cinema history.

The official synopsis is as follows:
"A couple's relationship is called into question by the arrival of unexpected guests, disrupting their tranquility."
