It's one of Paris's not-to-be-missed districts: the Latin Quarter! And it's in this area that two of the MK2 Odéon cinemas are nestled, one on the Saint Germain side, the other on the Saint Michel side. The program includes classic films released every week. For the comfort of couples, some cinemas, such as the MK2 on the Saint Michel side, have "banquette" type seats with fold-down armrests, so you can switch to a seat for two.
Located just four blocks from each other, both cinemas have the advantage of being very lively. After a movie, you can visit some of Paris's most emblematic landmarks, all on foot. Within a 10-minute walk, you'll find the famous Jardin du Luxembourg, the Odéon theater and theEglise Saint Sulpice. For Paris lovers, or simply to discover the capital's symbolic landmarks, the city's oldest café-restaurant, Le Procope, dating back to 1686, is just a 5-minute walk away.
In addition to these exceptional venues, MK2 cinemas are once again renewing their cultural season for the fourth time, with several conferences organized once a month in their movie theaters. This is the case for the two MK2s located in Odéon. The one on the Saint Germain side hosts"les lundis philo" with philosopher Charles Pépin. The one on the Saint Michel side hosts several lecture-debates: 1 heure, 1 film, 1 heure, 1 cinéaste and 1 heure, 1 femme d'influence. Find out more about these conferences here!
