Directed by Ali and Hakim Boughéraba, Les SEGPA is inspired by the successful comedy sketches about SEGPA classes (Sections d'Enseignement Général et Professionnel Adapté), often wrongly caricatured in popular culture.
In this film adaptation, a group of SEGPA students find themselves brutally expelled from their school and parachuted into the elitist Franklin D. Roosevelt College. Faced with the prejudices of their teachers and the principal, who is determined to get them to leave discreetly, the students thwart the adults' plans while enjoying their new school life.
Between absurd gags, offbeat situations and self-mockery, the film relies on theband spirit and solidarity of the protagonists, played by Ichem Bougheraba, Walid Ben Amar and Arriles Amrani.
