Hors-saison, directed by Stéphane Brizé, hits cinemas this March 20, 2024. Hors-saison stars Guillaume Canet, Alba Rohrwacher, Sharif Andoura and Emmy Boissard Paumelle. Guillaume Canet, renowned for his memorable role in Ne le dis à personne, plays the main character, Mathieu, a famous actor in his fifties, while Alba Rohrwacher, known for her performances in Les Merveilles and Mia Madre, plays Alice, a piano teacher who lives in a small seaside town in western France.
Hors-saison tells the story of Mathieu and Alice, two former lovers who separated some fifteen years ago. While life goes on after their separation and the wounds of the past seem to have gradually healed, Mathieu meets Alice again by chance during a stay at a spa resort to soothe his melancholy.
