Gérardmer Festival 2025 in Paris: competition films shown at the Cinémathèque

From February 5 to 9, 2025, the Cinémathèque française invites fans of fantasy and horror to discover the films in competition at the Gérardmer festival.

Gérardmer is a not-to-be-missed event in the world of cinema. Less well known than the Deauville or Cannes festivals, the Gérardmer festival remains a highly anticipated event for fans of the 7th art, and more particularly for those who love fantasy and horror cinema.

The days are short, the weather is gloomy: perfect conditions for immersing yourself in these surprising and disturbing worlds. The Gérardmer festival honors films that break the codes of ethics and normality. Here, reality no longer exists, only these strange and fascinating worlds...

Each year, a dozen or so films compete for the festival's grand prize. However, not everyone can travel to the Vosges to attend the festival. Fortunately for Parisians , the Cinémathèque française organizes special screenings of the films selected for this 32nd edition.

From February 5 to 9, cinephiles will gather in the 12th arrondissement, at the Cinémathèque, to discover the feature films in competition for 2025. Reserve your place now for an exceptional screening in the world of horror and fantasy!
