The outdoor cinema of La Villette is back from July 22 to August 16, 2026 in Paris. Hosted on the Prairie du Triangle, in the Parc de la Villette, the event sticks with last year’s format, offering two free screenings per day, at 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
For this 2026 edition, the festival adopts the theme “The Call of the Wild”, which is set to steer a program focused on nature, the untamed, adventure, and wide-open spaces. The full lineup has not yet been announced and will be added to this article as soon as it’s revealed.
Based in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, this free festival ranks among the capital’s most popular summer events. Spectators are free to settle on the lawn, space permitting, under the conditions specified by the organizers.
With its open-air setting and two daily screenings, the La Villette Outdoor Cinema 2026 is once again shaping up as a key summer hotspot for cinema fans in Paris.
