DEFINITIVE CLOSING - Fans of virtual reality and laser games can visit Spartrack VR, located at the CNIT in La Défense, on the Team Break premises. This is your chance to discover a fascinating VR shooting game, with family, friends or colleagues, and to challenge the robotic enemies of the planet Firos.

Due to the closure of Team Break at CNIT, to move a few blocks away, still at La Défense, the Spartrack-VR experience has closed its doors for good.

When laser gaming meets virtual reality... That's what Spartrack-VR is offering with an immersive game at the CNIT in La Défense, in the Team Break area. But don't expect the umpteenth escape game from the kings of the escape game... Here, your shooting skills are greatly appreciated, as this is an immersive game in collaborative mode, in VR, inspired by the laser game and offering players total freedom of movement in a large, determined space, and the possibility of interacting with each other and evolving together.

How does it work? Participants are equipped with " a virtual reality headset, a portable computer system, an electronic rifle and sensors on their hands ", and must complete a mission as a squadron. The room in which the players are to roam is also equipped with trackers, enabling the group to be positioned as it moves through the game, and synchronizing all these little people for optimal collaboration. After being briefed and equipped, groups of up to 8 participants will attempt to find a black box on the planet Firos, as well as a team of scientists who have gone missing since communications with Earth were cut off, while battling robotic beings.

It's an experience that the editors have tested and rather appreciated: immersive environment, immediate virtual/reality synchronization, instinctive handling... Everything is done to make the player's life easier, and he or she takes great pleasure in taking out the robot dino or the flying insect. A small bonus for gamers, who should find the weapon's manoeuvrability a pleasure, and perhaps find it easier to get good scores.

And those who get sick after prolonged use of VR headsets can rest assured: "thanks to the latest high-tech equipment, very low latency and adapted design, Spartrack-VR does not cause motion sickness ", explain the experience's creators. No more excuses to try out virtual reality, especially as the experience lasts just 50 minutes, including 25 minutes of VR gameplay!

Shall we go, friends?
