Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, developed by French studio Sandfall Interactive, awaits you on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series in 2025. Presented at the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2024, this turn-based RPG plunges players into a universe blending fantasy and Belle Époque aesthetics. Upon launch, the game will also be included in Xbox Game Pass.

The game's story revolves around a mysterious entity, La Peintresse, who marks an age on a monolith every year, causing the corresponding people to disappear. The story follows Gustave, an engineer determined to put an end to this macabre cycle, and his expedition group. Turn-based combat, enriched with interactive elements to energize the confrontations, recalls mechanics familiar from Sea of Stars. In terms of exploration, players will discover a variety of environments, using tools such as a grappling hook to advance through the story.

The voice cast features a number of well-known personalities: Charlie Cox(Daredevil: Born Again...) plays Gustave, Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI) as Verso, Jennifer English lends her voice to Maelle, and Andy Serkis(Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Black Panther...) plays Renoir. As Jennifer Svedberg-Yen, the project's lead writer, explains: " We've lived with these characters for the past few years. So it's a pleasure to see them come to life thanks to our incredible dubbers ".
