It's Christmas time for little fur balls too! How about giving them a nice present by adopting one of the dogs and cats on show atEspace Champerret this weekend? This Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 2024, the Fondation Assistance aux Animaux announces its return to the capital with its traditional " Noël des Bêtes Abandonnées " .
As in previous years, this event is an opportunity to fall in love with one of these balls of fur just waiting to be adopted. This year, Fondation Assistance aux Animaux is announcing the presence of some 200 dogs and cats, all from the Foundation's shelters. Presented for adoption throughout the weekend, these four-legged animals need lots of love and a home ready to welcome and pamper them.
For this latest edition of its " Christmas for Abandoned Animals ", the Foundation has chosen to " shine the spotlight on the too many forgotten animals in its shelters " who have so much love to give. " Those who have been waiting for months, sometimes years. Those who are invisible to visitors. Those who are beginning to lose hope of finally being loved," says the Foundation.
Please note, as the Fondation Assistance aux Animaux reminds us, adoption is an act that must be carefully considered. The Fondation Assistance aux Animaux therefore requires proof of residence and identity before placing a pet. " A contribution towards the cost of vaccinations and sterilization is required for all animals," it adds.
But " Noël des Bêtes Abandonnées " is also an opportunity to learn more about the Foundation, both its actions and its fight for animal protection.
Veterinarians will also be on hand to offer advice, while a number of vintage items will be on sale, along with pet accessories and toys. Finally, the Ferme team will be on hand at Espace Champerret to present its workshops on educating children and respecting animals. NACs will also be available for adoption.
Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on December 7 and 8, the " Noël des Bêtes Abandonnées " will be open to the public. More good news: pets are welcome!
