Whether you practice your art with a smartphone, a state-of-the-art camera, or even a disposable camera, whether you're an amateur or a professional, you're welcome at the Salon de la Photo, the major annual gathering held this autumn at the Grande Halle de la Villette.

For this 2024 edition, we look forward to seeing you from October 10 to 13, to enjoy this event dedicated to photography and video. Since its creation in 2007, the Salon de la Photo has become a privileged meeting place , bringing togetherprofessionals, amateurs, major photography brands, photo agencies, schools, vendors, artists... every year. This event is not only a place to discover and test the latest technical innovations from the brands, it's also an opportunity to learn more about the world of photography, meet new people and enjoy a unique experience.

The Salon de la Photo offers numerous meetings, conferences, workshops and training courses, for amateurs and professionals alike, to explore the different techniques and characteristics of this universe. There will also be an awards ceremony, exhibitions, artistic presentations around a special theme... Discover the program for this 2023 edition.

The major events of the Salon de la Photo 2024 at La Villette :

15 exhibitions, including the Grand Exhibition devoted to "The Fnac Photographic Collection at the Salon de la Photo, in dialogue with the Musée Nicéphore Niépce".
The Salon de la Photo also joins forces with renowned festivals to present new exhibitions, such as Gruissan Sport Photo, the Montier Festival Photo international wildlife and nature photography festival, the Festival International de la Photographie Culinaire and the CIP/Visa pour l'Image Perpignan.
45 live events organized on three different stages for amateurs and professionals alike:
- The Live Stage, located at the heart of the show, welcomes exhibitors, institutions and creators of photo and video content to present their work, their profession, their advice and share a convivial moment with spectators.
- The Grandes Rencontres offers the public a privileged moment of exchange, led by leading specialist journalists, to discover the approaches, tricks and creative process of great artists.
- The Forum des Pros with its dedicated conferences and product and service exhibition area dedicated to photo and video professionals.
6 Photos Spots: a focus on manipulation, testing and creativity!
Designed as immersive "workshops", they enable visitors to test equipment in real-life situations during indoor and outdoor sessions, dedicated to different shooting techniques: light painting, studio photography, architecture, nature, macro and motion photography.
16 masterclass workshops to learn new techniques or perfect your expertise with training sessions.
Packed with advice, these workshops are led by renowned professionals in the fields of culinary photography, street photography, portrait and architectural photography, and video retouching.
3 awards ceremonies organized during the show:
