Star Wars fans, you're in for a treat! The world's biggest lightsaber tournament is back at the Stade Charléty, with some 80 competitors expected and a host of events that make theOpen de France de Sabre Laser such a must-see event. Join us on June 7 and 8, 2024 to admire the best Jedi in the galaxy!
As of 2019, the French Fencing Federation officially recognizes Lightsaber as a sporting practice. Thus, the greatest dreams of fans of the Star Wars saga come to life, with real-life versions of lightsaber combat , a playful evolution of more traditional martial arts! This open event is the major competition of the Saber Tour, featuring the world's best fighters.
For the duration of the event, you can come and support, encourage and applaud the fighters, whose styles are as varied as they are effective, but you can also learn to wield a saber yourself, whether you're an adult or a child! Alongside the tournaments, you can learn to play lightsaber and quadball (adapted from quidditch), and meet the Imperial Alliance on Saturday.
Prestigious guests such as Olivia Luccioni, French voice of the jedi Ahsoka Tano, and Chantal Baroin, who lends her voice to Bo Katan in The Mandalorian series, will be present on Saturday June 8, from 10am to 6pm, for signing sessions, photos, of course, and a dubbing workshop! A golden opportunity to enjoy a weekend of pop culture and incredible activities. Admission is by free donation, starting at one euro!
