Badminton in the dark: a fun and sporty evening in Eaubonne

As the year draws to a close and winter approaches, daylight is in short supply. Night falls early, sometimes preventing us from pursuing our favorite sports. Unless... More sun? No problem, we’ll even play in the dark! The Eaubonne Badminton Club invites you to an unusual evening on Friday, December 18, 2026.

This year again, CMSE Badminton is organizing its Blackminton, a night when we play badminton in the dark! Fluorescent colors, shuttlecocks that glow in the dark, music: this athletic gathering becomes a real, offbeat celebration.

Whether you’re an aspiring Olympic athlete or a beginner, a child or an adult, everyone is welcome. This convivial evening mainly celebrates the love of sport and camaraderie. Between two badminton matches, the participants can enjoy a great time with friends or family.

To keep the competition enjoyable for everyone, the sports association offers two time slots:

• From 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM: a parent–child session, for a fun, sporty moment to share as a family.
• From 8:30 PM to 1:00 AM: adults take over to extend the evening in a bright, convivial atmosphere.

So, ready for this glow-in-the-dark sports night? Don’t forget to wear your tenues fluo to stand out on the field and make sure you warm up properly: the evening is all about fun, but by the end of the match there will definitely be a winner! Have a great game, everyone...
