Following in the footsteps of cat bars and siesta bars, Paris has just opened its first... meditation bar! Head for the capital's 2nd arrondissement to get your fill of relaxation.

Paris now boasts its first meditation center! Nestled in the 2nd arrondissement, the meditation bar invites Parisians to meditate freely.

Our aim? To promote mindfulness and scientifically published brain-gym techniques in the workplace.

The meditation bar offers half-hour guided sessions followed by a few minutes of conversation.

For further training, we also offer MBCT & MBSR, two 8-week programs to deepen your understanding of mindfulness meditation.

Behind this new concept is psychiatrist and psychotherapist Christine Barois, who has been practicing meditation for almost 10 years. Through this meditation bar, she hopes to introduce meditation to people suffering from prolonged stress.

She therefore imagined this unique space in Paris, spread over three levels:

  • The ground-floor reception area in theGaillon space allows you to relax while waiting for your session and access the locker room with lockers where you can leave your personal belongings.
  • TheOpera area, upstairs, for instructor-led sessions.
  • ThePyramids area, below, welcomes smaller numbers of you to meditate on your own.

We're sure this meditation bar will have many fans in the capital, a city where stress is almost permanent!
