Rap, R'n'B and "Nouvelle Pop " were in the spotlight this Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Paris. The Théâtre du Châtelet hosted the first Flammes ceremony. Initiated by Yard and Booska-P, to spotlight new musical sensations from French and French-speaking urban cultures, the event presented no fewer than 21 awards on Thursday evening.
While a number of artists were among the favorites, such as Gazo, Aya Nakamura, Dinos, Tiakola and Josman, others also came out on top, such as Ronisia, who won the Flamme for female revelation of the year, and WeRenoi, who walked away with the Flamme for male revelation of the year.
For this first Flammes ceremony, the organizers also pulled out all the stops, with a dozen performances by Kerchak with Ziak, Gazo with Damso and then Tiakola, not forgetting Shay and Ronisia. And fans of urban music were able to follow all this on Youtube and Twitch, as well as on television on W9 (delayed).
So who had the honor of walking away with one or more trophies? Flame for Video of the Year, Flame for Concert of the Year or Flame for Female Artist of the Year... Discover the winners and results of this first edition of Les Flammes.
