Classic meets modern. This winter, La Scala, located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, opens its doors to the show"Identités" for three exceptional performances scheduled for Wednesday 20, Thursday 21 and Friday 22 December 2023. The concept behind this musical and choreographic creation? Blend the compositions of renowned violinist Catherine Lara with the break dance and hip-hop of Compagnie Kumo, embodied here by dancers Jamson, Chichii, Corey and Viny.
For 1h20, the worlds of the musician and the dance company come together to offer spectators a moment rich in emotion and poetry. In this atypical creation, everyone is invited to question our relationship with social networks, but also our place in society and our relationship with others and tolerance.
To enhance the show, director Jamson, assisted by Chichii, has opted for a minimalist scenography, with lighting and video that plunge the audience into a surprising chiaroscuro.
