From October 17, 2023 to May 12, 2023, immerse yourself in an exhibition that's all aboutexperience and discovery. Explorer l'infiniment takes you into territories unknown (or now known) to mankind, to probe, study and discover the secrets of our planet, and much more besides.
Since the dawn of time, man has been exploring his environment, mapping what he discovers, creating maps, globes and representations of all kinds to explain to as many people as possible what our world is made of. Jules Verne, Christopher Columbus, Marco Polo, Magellan... all these names are synonymous with great expeditions lasting several months, during which they crossed seas, oceans and frontiers. From the North Pole to the South Pole, via the depths of the abyss, discover the instruments (maps, drawings, tools) that enabled mankind to gain a better understanding of their environment, to learn about life on continents other than Europe, and to explore unknown territories accessible to human beings due to their harsh living conditions.
Set off on an adventure with an exhibition that will delight the curious young and old in search of great exploration missions: climb aboard a Mars rover, descend to the depths of the oceans and let yourself be guided through an exhibition that's as entertaining as it is educational. Throughout the exhibition, you'll be able to try your hand at workshops, take part in guided tours or take part in one of the threeExplorer l'infiniment highlights. Three major weekends offer the whole family the chance to explore space, the ocean and the Earth together.
