As part of the Cultural Olympiad, created to coincide with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Estonian Embassy is opening its doors to young and old for a day. An opportunity to discover Estonian culture through various sports-related exhibitions!
On
July 20, the
Estonian Embassy will be welcoming visitors to discover Estonian culture and sport as part of the Cultural Olympiad of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Located at 17 rue de la Baume in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, the venue is offering two sports-related exhibitions as part of the
Around the World in a Day event.
On the occasion of the
Cultural Olympiad,
theEstonian Embassy is presenting two exhibitions: "Estonian Sport in Color", featuring historical photographs from the Estonian Olympic and Sports Museum; and "Implosion of the Universe", highlighting the works of young Estonian painter
Robin Nõgisto. The exhibitions can be viewed on guided tours starting at 12:15 and 15:00. Tours are free of charge, but booking is required via the Embassy website.
As a reminder, the
Cultural Olympiad, initiated for the
Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, encourages interaction between art and sport. Launched in 2021, this initiative offers a rich and varied multidisciplinary program, including artistic performances, exhibitions and cultural events across France. It promotes Olympic values such as inclusion, excellence and diversity, which are also highlighted by the exhibitions to be discovered at the
Estonian Embassy this
