Having already presented his luminous works in Dublin and London, it's now time for the artist to install them in Paris for just a few days. From January 29 to February 14, 2025, Tom Meskell will unveil a total of 26 luminous sculptures in the courtyard of the Centre culturel irlandais, transforming the site into an enchanting, poetic garden.

Created from special rainproof paper, and featuring human and plant forms, these luminous creatures embody hope and community spirit. The installation is also collaborative. Several children from the Quartier latin participated in the creation of the luminous flowers, planted alongside the sculptures designed by Tom Meskell.

To be discovered free of charge, Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm to 8pm, the " Silva Lumina " installation is also accompanied by a relaxing soundtrack composed by Colm O Snodaigh and Brian Hogan, members of the famous traditional band Kíla.

Note that this artistic stroll is presented as part of theImbolg festival. This Irish Celtic festival, celebrated every February 1, marks the beginning of spring according to the Celtic calendar.
