The Montparnasse Tower Observatory never stops innovating. After offering us a roller rink, trampolines and then an ice rink, here's a big ball pool waiting for us for the Spring vacations, from April 13 to May 1, 2018.
We still remember Colette's famous ball pool, which we loved so much. It's an equally extraordinary pool that awaits us this time on the rooftop of the Tour Montparnasse. We can already see ourselves floating on a sea of balls, curled up in a colorful buoy, admiring the capital. For this ephemeral installation, no fewer than 100,000 balls make up this unusual pool. So there's plenty of room for drowning (without risk, of course). And to avoid overcrowding and long waits, swimming is available in 12-minute sessions. And since you're probably wondering, yes, you can do as many laps as you like!
In short, the famous terrace of the Tour Montparnasse and its 360° view has not finished surprising us. For 2 weeks, the place is transformed into a veritable playground for young and old alike. Want to let off steam, jump, dive or bubble? Come and enjoy this highly original and entertaining experience. Laughter guaranteed!
This pool is open every day from April 13 to May 1, 2018. Measuring 40m2, it will be covered entirely by a safety net. Note that the animation is free and accessible to all, offered with the entrance ticket to the Montparnasse Tower Observatory, which remains at the usual rate. More info on the event's facebook page.
