Good news for outdoor adventure game lovers, Mystère aux Tuileries is back for a second edition. After las year's success, where over 11,600 players took up the challenged and unveiled the mystery, the Louvre does it again with a free adventure game in the Jardin des Tuileries. If you haven't done it again, the summer 2019 is your chance to try it and the game is open from 12 years old, but the youngest ones can still enjoy the walk! Meet from Saturday July 6 to Sunday August 25, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. including a late-night session - until 8 p.m. - on Saturday night.
Louis XIV’s famous gardener and master of French formal gardens André Le Nôtre, is said to have drawn mysterious pillars within the Tuileries garden leading to a hidden missive… Helped by Le Nôtre’s will and a period map solve enigmas scattered across the garden.
It's a beautiful way to (re)discover this so beautiful garden in the heart of PAris that - among other wonders - includes about 2,800 trees including the very rare nettle tree and about a hundred sculptures from different time periods.
The game starts from the Kiosque de Diane where you'll get the perfect investigator gear: period map, historic engravings and coded letters, it's up to you! The game exists with different difficulty levels and can suit beginners and skilled players.
To take part, you only have to subscribe on the Louvre website. Go with a team of 2 to 4 players, it's free, you only have to sign up and come on time as proud investigators!
