This September, on Thursday 13 and Friday 14, the Eiffel Tower will be wearing the Japanese colors for the first time as part of the Japonismes 2018 season.

It’s a sound and visual show likely to put a smile on Parisians’ tourists’ faces.

On the occasion of the event Japonismes 2018, the Eiffel Tower will be embellished for two days thanks to a special light set giving pride of place to Japan’s colors.

This September, on Thursday 13 and Friday 14, 2018 the famous Iron Lady will display for the first time the Japanese colors.

A visual show thought up and created by two internationally recognized light designer: Motoko Ishii – Japanese forerunner in the world of the lighting design – and her daughter Akari-Lisa Ishii – renowned Parisian designer.

This unique art installation on the Eiffel Tower will be the occasion to see and understand the different representations of beauty in the Japanese culture and the aesthetic importance inhabiting it. It will offer an original scenario based on elements representative of Japan. A unique soundtrack especially created for the occasion will create a synergetic effect between the sound and the light.

Please note that this light and sound show lasts 10 minutes and performs in a loop.
