Christmas at Parc Astérix 2024-2025: light trail, ice rink, Christmas market and Obelix's slide

Parc Astérix invites us to celebrate its Gaulish Christmas once again from December 21, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Children and adults alike will love strolling through the park in Christmas colors and discovering the magnificent shows and activities on offer for the occasion. For this Christmas vacation season, the park is unveiling some exceptional new features, sure to fill our eyes and immerse us in the magic of the festive season.

This year, Parc Asterix unveils a new experience: Obelix's Slide. Nestled in the world of La Gaule, this attraction lets you hurtle down Mont Gaul at full speed, comfortably seated in a buoy in Obelix's colors. A fun and refreshing winter activity, ideal for family laughter!

• Santa's Wonderful Gardens:

Santa's Wonderful Gardens takes us on a magical stroll through 3 worlds: the Enchanted Wood, the Frozen Valley and Santa's Village. Accessible all day, but more magical in the evening, let's face it, you'll discover butterflies, gnomes, a unicorn and giant candy canes.

• Le Repaire des Lutins :

Le Repaire des Lutins is Parc Astérix's hidden tavern, where elves meet for a hot chocolate or mulled wine accompanied by crêpes and waffles. With its magical animations, balloon sculptures and elf antics, it's a great place to spend a warm moment.

• Le Défilé des Gaulois :

At the end of the day, when the sun goes down, come the Gaulois Christmas floats. Featuring acrobats, dancers and magicians, these Christmas-colored floats transport us with their lively music.

For 16 days, we're off to Parc Astérix to admire the world's most beautiful fir trees! Between the Pirate Fir, the Indian Fir and the Greek Fir, our preference goes without hesitation to the Gaulish Fir.

But Christmas means Christmas Market! Parc Astérix is once again offering its festive Christmas Market, which will be more extensive for the 2024-2025 festive season. From seasonal delicacies to unusual objects, you're sure to love strolling through and picking up original gifts.

In the Arena, in the Park, in the Theatre or on the Ice, shows await us in all 4 corners of the park. Lasting 15 to 20 minutes, please consult the entertainment program.

But that's not all! The magic of Christmas also comes with shows! And it's not 1, but 4 shows you should have discovered this year.

• Qui veut la peau du Père Noël : an exclusive ice show at the heart of Santa's toy factory / Théâtre de la Joconde - duration 25 min.

• Quel Cirque! acrobats and dancers take visitors on a unique journey into the world of the circus. A show to discover in the arenas that will amaze young and old alike - duration 25 min.

• L'Ile aux vœux: a poetic night-time show on the lake to round off your day. Light effects and pyrotechnics on the program. Duration: 15 min.

Join us at Tous en piste, the indoor winter sports village. A 2,500^m2 indoor space, transformed around the world of Christmas, offers ice skating and winter games. There's a 28m-long toboggan run, a 150^m2 ice rink for the little ones, and a 400^m2 giant ice rink for the grown-ups.

And of course, Parc Astérix also offers a wide range of attractions throughout the season, including the famous Toutatis, which opened this summer.

For even more magic, don't miss this year's Gaulish Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations. Parc Asterix's 3 hotels are offering visitors a unique Christmas Eve experience, with a festive buffet and entertainment to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. For the occasion, the Gauls will be getting out their gala outfits and serving guests until 2 a.m. in a festive atmosphere. As an added bonus, the Cirque 's restaurant in the heart of the Park is also the place to celebrate New Year's Eve!
