To celebrate the arrival of summer, the Domaine Départemental de Montauger hosts on June 22, 2019 the 1001 Lumières à Montauger event. On the menu, carriage rides, games for children, local products tasting sessions and bonfire of Saint John at nightfall.

Quiet and discreet, the Domaine Départemental de Montauger is a protected site thanks to its Espace Naturel Sensible [roughly translated as Sensitive Natural Area] status. Set in Essonne, it houses a fauna and flora delighting curious people.

On June 22, 2019 for Midsummer, you’re expected at the Domaine Départemental de Montauger, between Lisses and Mennecy, for the ‘1001 Lumières à Montauger’ [1001 lights in Montauger] event!

This year, the event will be all-things biodiversity as part of the 30th anniversary of the Essonnne policy in favor of the Espaces Naturels Sensibles.

Children and adults will be able to take part in many free activities such as workshops and games for children, a nature rally and carriage rides, boat rides and pony rides.

All night long, you can also attend shows, discover exhibitions, enjoy some local products and of course, once it’s dark, the highlight of the day will be the illuminations and the bonfire of Saint John.

Welcome summer 2019 with joy and good mood (let’s hope it will only bring sun!) at the Domaine Départemental de Montauger!
