The 21st Lavender Festival takes place this Saturday, July 1, 2023 at SIAAP (Syndicat Interdépartemental pour l'Assainissement de l'Agglomération Parisienne) Seine aval. To mark the occasion, the largest wastewater treatment plant in the Paris region and Europe invites visitors to discover the vast lavender fields on its site.
With family or friends, pick lavender sprigs, take part in free workshops to create your own scented sachet and discover the jobs and missions of the Île-de-France wastewater treatment public service, notably through lectures given at the Maison de l'Environnement.
SIAAP has plenty more free events in store, open to all!
