The Irish Cultural Center has been enlivening the Latin Quarter for twenty years already thanks to exhibitions, concerts and compelling events. To celebrate this anniversary as it should be, the CCI hosts a Birthday Party on Friday September 16, 2022. On the menu of this free party? Discover the “Oblivion Seachmalltacht - ᖃᐅᔨᒪᔭᐅᔪᓐᓃᖅᑐᑦ” exhibition by artist Aideen Barry, an electro gig by Daithí and a laser show performed on the façade of the Irish Cultural Center.
This Fall 2022, the Irish Cultural Center turns 20 years old. The CCI – for friends – has been sharing Irish culture in Paris for two decades already. Both residence and dynamic center for contemporary art, the Irish Cultural Center makes you enjoy a hundred events a year (exhibitions, concerts, performances, debates…). On Friday September 16, 2022, the Irish Cultural Center expects you from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. for its “Birthday Party” mixing exhibitions, electro music and laser show!

Come and discover the latest installation by contemporary artist Aideen Barry.
Coming from Cork, Ireland, she already presented her work for the first year of the CCI. Aideen Barry is back this Fall 2022, with her new film, “Oblivion”. Note a panel with artist Aideen Barry (free and in English) is scheduled at 6 p.m., before the inauguration of the exhibition. This September 16, for its Birthday Party, the Irish Cultural Center will also unveils in the library the heritage exhibition “Conquering the Unknown” diving into scientific expeditions.
- Concert by Daithí
At 8 p.m., enjoy music by artist and producer Daithí. Irish electro-pop scene leader, Daithí expects to unveil his fascinating universe between keys, beatbox and fiddle.
- Laser show
For a great final to this birthday party, the Irish Cultural Center will offer from 9 p.m., a laser show screened on the façade (courtyard side). Especially designed by Conan Wynne, from Dublin-based collective SUBSET, this light and electro sound collage will be controlled in real time and lit the beautiful building of the Irish Cultural Center.
