The artistic 100-meter race: a sporting work of art suspended in the skies above Bercy Village

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are coming to the capital this summer, and the whole of Paris is decked out in Olympic colors, even at Bercy Village! The shopping mall and lifestyle venue is changing its skyline for the occasion, this time leaving behind the colorful umbrellas and little flowers, and making way for sport, with a 100m event suspended above our heads, in the Cour Saint-Émilion alleys! A sporting and artistic installation, to be seen until September 15, 2024!

Conceived by Trajectoire Studio in collaboration with artist Arnaud Liard, it features the Olympic disciplines of athletics and swimming on suspended canvases, recreating a bluish swimming lane and a colorful athletics track, with sculptures of a determined swimmer and runner. Passers-by will be transported to the heart of movement and action, before, during and after the Olympic competition!
