France Miniature: the 2024 program and family park attractions

If you're dreaming of travelling around France in a day, while entertaining your children with a variety of attractions, then France Miniature is the place for you. Come and take a children's tour of France, near Elancourt in the Yvelines. Scheduled to reopen on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

How about discovering France in miniature? Just 20 minutes from Porte d'Auteuil and 10 minutes from Versailles, on a 5-hectare site, come and help your children discover the most beautiful monuments and landscapes in scale models.

For this new 2024 season, France Miniature is focusing on sport, inclusivity and biodiversity. As a result, all the park's signage will be changed. The France of Legends immersive investigation will be renewed in 2024, and will be life-size. It is said that the fairy Morgane wants to bewitch the legendary creatures of our regions: with the help of a set of maps, travel around France as a family to thwart the fairy's plans and save the country!

As soon as you arrive in France Miniature's leafy parking lot, you'll feel transported to another world. Here you are in a beautifully landscaped park, out for a walk with the kids. You'll be constantly on the lookout for grandiose sites and monuments, more lifelike than life-size in 1/30th scale.

From theArc de Triomphe to the Orange theater, from the Village of Saint-Emilion to the Château de Montmaur, via the volcanoes of Auvergne, the Châteaux of the Loire or the Place Stanislas in Nancy, the beauty of France's heritage is revealed to you and your children. As you stroll down the aisles, you'll realize just how many remarkable sites there are to discover in France.

Think your kids will be bored? You'll be surprised at the opposite. Not only do they love it, but most of them want to come back again, because here, not only do we discover our country's monuments, but above all, we take part in fun installations and games.

You can test your strength against the weight at Fort Boyard, try your hand at drawing King Arthur's sword, ring the northern bells on a trampoline, slide down the slope, or soon face off in a duel.

Since 2019, the Cirque des Zinzins also awaits acrobats. The famous Zotos course hides a 4-meter-high suspended course. Suitable for all ages from 1 metre upwards, this area invites you to take on 20 acrobatic workshops.

The park renews itself and offers activities to keep children interacting and entertained. Since April 2022, families have been able to choose their camp and their tribe in the Koh Lanta universe integrated into the park. This new 370 m² area offers children the chance to take part in activities based on the codes of the TV show.

On the menu for the Warriors are strategy games, water games and avoidance games. Of course, as you can imagine, there's also the mythical test of the poles, not to mention the quest for an immunity necklace and the opportunity to take possession of the famous Totem.

This area, ideal for warm weather days, will appeal to adventurers in search of a little coolness. You can run under the nets of water, jumping, decanting and watering everyone using the water cannons provided.

They can also transform themselves into budding little archaeologists. Using shovels and sieves, they go in search of Gallo-Roman and medieval treasures. Children unearth pearls, gold and silver buttons, mosaics from the Gallo-Roman era, jewelry, coins and keys from the medieval period.

A new-generation prehistoric cave also awaits you. The Lascaux-inspired cave takes you back almost 18,000 years. You can reproduce cave paintings on a touch screen. A choice of 18 drawings is available. At your disposal: flint for engraving, brushes, paintbrushes and blowpipes for projecting pigments and coloring in a variety of ways to satisfy even the most rigorous creators. And finally, what could be more glorious than to see your creation projected onto the cave wall, alongside the permanent creations!

If you're hanging around the Château de Versailles, why not bring the famous fountains to life as they were in the days of Louis XIV.

And for the past few years, France Miniature has also been opening the doors of Fort Boyard. Enter the lair of Père Fouras and discover the council chamber as if you were at Fort Boyard. Inside, 7 challenges await you. Just like on the TV game show, you'll face off against each other in games of skill and reflection.

Answer the riddles posed by Père Fouras and confront the Master of Time. Finally, test your agility and strength in the cotton swab challenge. Can you keep your balance while knocking over your opponent?

And don't forget that France Miniature also has a whole range of self-service attractions for non-stop fun.

In 2018, the park was enriched by the voice of Monsieur Patrimoine. Stéphane Bern's explanations and anecdotes have been added to 12 of our favorite sites and monuments. There's no need for an audioguide, just swipe your smartphone over the QR codes on some of the presentation plaques to launch the presentation.

This makes for an even richer visit, and you'll come away having learned plenty of history. It's a real treat.

La ronde des autos: special for 4/10 year-olds (indoor attraction)
In a 900 m2 indoor circuit, children can drive their little electric car at 4-5km/hour through France in comic-book style!
Le Toboggan de course: a wild ride for 6, starting from a height of 9 metres.
Galipette: loops aboard a two-seater capsule.
Pile ou face: back and forth aboard a shuttle to test the limits of the law of gravity.
T'es pas Cap: climbing an 8-metre-high volcano, with a slide at the end.
Chat perché: climb a 7-metre tower for a bird's-eye view of the whole of France, followed by a gentle free-fall!
Tête en l'air (Head in the air ): fly over the English Channel in an individual gondola.
Même pas peur: an eventful water landing in the English Channel, aboard a boat propelled at 40 km/h, which takes off and lands in the water.
