The Korean Harvest Festival at the Jardin d'Acclimatation 2024, a Korean immersion in Paris

This year, the Harvest Festival will be held at the Jardin d'Acclimatation on September 14 and 15, 2024. This event, a must for the Korean community in Paris, takes place every year on the eve of the autumn equinox. In the Land of the Morning Calm,"Chuseok" pays tribute to the ancestors when the harvest begins. In Paris, it's an opportunity for Koreans to share a piece of their culture and traditions.

On the program:

Opening parade

Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 am, in the main alley

Traditional street food market

Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Mayak Kimbap, Tteokbokki, Sundae... the Jardin d'Acclimatation is transformed into a temple of Korean street food, with some fifteen stalls.

K-Pop Contest

Korean Pop, the pop music from Korea, has become increasingly popular in recent years. For the Korean Festival, all dancers are expected to take part in a K-Pop competition open to all.

Introduction to martial arts by a Taekwondo master

Traditional Korean games

In Korean society, games are at the heart of social activity. For children and adults alike, you can try your hand at jegichagi, in which players toss a paper shuttlecock into the air and try to keep it weightless with their feet. Or try the challenge of tug-of-war, a game of strength and balance popular in Korea, as seen in the Squid Game series.
