Anticafé: a masculine name for an unusual restaurant in Russia. Today, Anticafé is also a new, totally atypical space, which took up residence on rue Quincampoix in Paris last April.
The concept here is simple: you pay by the hour and consume as much as you like. For €2-4/hour, hot and cold drinks, fruit and sweet and savory snacks are unlimited. In addition to high-speed Wi-Fi access, a video projector, printer, scanner, board games and books are available.
How does it work?
L'AntiCafé is open 7 days a week at the following rates: 6 euros per hour, 28 euros per day and 300 per month. Ideal for freelancers and workaholics. Here, time is counted by a magnetic card given on arrival, and you only pay when you leave.
In short, it's a place where you feel at home, where you come to work and have fun. Two notions that may not mix well, but rest assured thatAnticafé has thought of everything, including separate areas for each of these activities.
L'AntiCafé is also a community of creative, passionate and talented young people.
Here you'll find entrepreneurs, film-makers, artists and musicians, designers and stylists... Here, people launch projects together, help each other out and share their knowledge. In short, as you may have guessed, Anticafé is the ideal place to make contacts.
And like any new space that wants to grow, theAnticafé organizes workshops, conferences and invites personalities to lead informal debates, not forgetting musical evenings, board game tournaments, themed evenings and screenings of auteur films.
