Vive le vent, vive le vent d'hiver! In response to the chill that grips the capital, Paris unveils a number of comforting concepts designed to make us appreciate the season while adding a touch of enchantment to the festive season. Winter chalets, Christmas illuminations, animated shop windows and more, the City of Light becomes more magical than ever during this festive season. Everyone feels like a child again, and it's with great pleasure that we set off to conquer the regressive concepts that await us in the capital.
For children of all ages, lovers of chocolate, pralines and hazelnuts, there's a high-perched chocolate bar at Printemps de l'Homme. To discover it, go to the 7th floor of the famous department store and head for bar Perché, the cosy spot offering a stunning view over the rooftops of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Until January 10, 2024, the bar features a gourmet bar where hazelnuts and chocolate take center stage.
Gold Cappuccino, Latte Croquant and Choco Perché are the evocative names on the menu. To accompany them, a selection of pastries and chocolate cakes, including a cookie and a cake both decorated with gold leaf. As an added bonus, Danny Khezzar, who appeared in the 2023 edition ofTop Chef , also invites us to sample a new creation called Le Cadeau, a chocolate trompe l'oeil made with chocolate ganache, hazelnut crème montée and a praline insert.
Last but not least, on Wednesdays, the shop hosts festive workshops to make Christmas wreaths, shortbread, candles and gift boxes. Something for all ages!
