If you're looking for affordable 4* accommodation a stone's throw from Gare de l'Est, Hôtel Mademoiselle awaits you with 53 tastefully decorated rooms and a spa with hammam and sauna.

When you arrive at 7 rue des Petits Hôtels, near the Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord, you'll see a beautiful marble plaque evoking the site's past, where Le Royal Magenta once stood, an"all-comfort" hotel with rooms by the month and by the day, as well as a telephone, no less!

Today, the building still has the same function, but in a more modern guise, of course, with theHôtel Mademoiselle, a four-star establishment, at rather affordable prices and particularly accessible by transport!

Despite its excellent transport links, the hotel nestles in a quiet, little-traveled street, offering you a relaxing stay in the heart of the capital, in one of the 53 rooms, including seven suites, decorated in an elegant, purely Parisian style.

This family-run hotel is full of little surprises, from a charming bamboo-lined interior patio for breakfast in the sun, which transforms into a bar at 3pm, to a cosy vintage lounge for reading or playing board games, which can also be adapted for seminars.

Whether you're here on a business trip, with family or friends, Hôtel Mademoiselle has a room for you, from the "Classique Élégante" to the "Junior suite Couture", not forgetting the "Suite Mademoiselle", designed to comfortably accommodate four people, and the "Tour Eiffel" and "Sous les Toits" spaces, which can accommodate up to 7 people, with a view of the Iron Lady.

On the upper floors, some rooms with balconies also offer a beautiful view of the Parisian landscape, while others, hidden under the roofs, give the feeling of a warm cocoon.

While it's very pleasant to sleep at the Hôtel Mademoiselle, a little relaxation after a day's walking in the capital is never a bad idea! Just the thing, as there's a 200m2spa in the basement, accessible to all hotel guests free of charge between 9 and 10.30 a.m. in a shared version!

For a more intimate moment with your partner or friends, remember to reserve your 45-minute or 1.5-hour slot for the rest of the day, at 29 euros per person for customers and 49 euros for external customers.

The program includes a sauna, hammam, hydro-massage mattress and gym with rowing machine and treadmill, plus a relaxation room in a vaulted cellar under a starry sky. It's an area we were able to try out at our leisure, where you can relax in peace and quiet, although the hydro-massage mattress - a big first for us - was an astonishing moment!

Lying on water contained in a mattress, you choose the program of your choice, to soothe a sore back or relieve stress, before attempting a 15-minute session, which is surprising at first because the water massages energetically. But you soon get used to it, and the ritual becomes a pleasant one, lulled by the waves, with an increasingly relaxed feeling, and the aches and pains really eased as you leave!

So you can chain together a bit of steamy heat in the hammam before drying off in the warmth of the sauna, and even work up a sweat on the machines, then finish by sipping a lemon drink after all that exertion.
