The Salon de l'Agriculture is a not-to-be-missed event for the agricultural world every year. On Saturday, February 24, the inauguration of the Salon was chaotic to say the least: in the midst of a farmers' strike, the Salon opened an hour and a half late this morning, and the pavilions were successively closed for the arrival of the President of the Republic. As of Sunday February 25, visits should not be disrupted.
So, the Salon is back at the Parc des Expositions de Paris, Porte de Versailles, from February 24 to March 3, 2024 for a very special edition, as this year it celebrates its 60th anniversary on the theme " Soil and land: life in our hands ". As a reminder, the Paris Salon de l'Agriculture is the must-attend event for all those involved in the world of agriculture. For 10 days, from the end of February to the beginning of March, curious visitors of all ages are invited to meet farmers and industry professionals, discover the various activities and services offered by the agricultural world, and admire the wine and animal competitions...
The 60th edition of the Salon International de l'Agriculture promises to highlight the essential role played by farmers in ensuring food sovereignty and feeding the population. The show's co-owners, the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food and CENECA, are keen to present agriculture as being at the service of life and food.
The Salon de l'Agriculture is divided into four sections:
Over 9 days, the festivities for this 60th edition will incorporate a retrospective with a series of commemorative events, both on and off the event site, including a major photography exhibition. Festive activities will take place in the various pavilions and aisles, while future perspectives will be explored through numerous presentations dedicated to shaping tomorrow's agriculture today.
Innovation is at the heart of the event, highlighting how technological advances can encourage environmentally-friendly farming practices and meet consumer needs. Presentations of new agritech methods and solutions, as well as agro-ecological approaches, will serve to illustrate the importance of marrying tradition and innovation to meet contemporary challenges.

The Salon de l'Agriculture is not just about meeting new people and making new discoveries, it's also an opportunity for young and old alike to admire a wide range of animals. Several areas are open to all, including the milking parlour, the educational farm and the goat barn. There are also horses, donkeys and mules. A pavilion is also dedicated to the show's dogs and cats. Not forgetting, of course, Oreillette, the Normandy cow of the year 2024.
